Composts C2, C1 and C4 are those wich can improve top soil fertility. They content high concentrations in nitrogen (N) 0,64% to 1,20%, Phosphorus(P) 0,36% to 0,45% and potassium (K), 0,42% to 0,60% compared to the top soil wich is very poor in macronutrients (0,08% for nitrogen, 0,27% for phosphorus and 0,02% for potassium. Compost C3 (Green Wastes + Limestone + Clay) present the lowest concentration in macronutrients and the higuest content of calcium. Compost C3 characteristics do not allow a good growth of plants species on the top soil. The best composts for topsoil fertility and biodiversity restoration are C1 (Green Wastes only) and C2 (Green Wastes + Food Wastes).
