Insects account for three-quarters of the animal species on the planet and are placed behind the flora in the food chain. Insects represent more than 3/4 of the animal species of the mining site Sika-Kondji. Our study shows that waste composting is a way to keep them during the mining activity on the site.Insects also play a vital role in agriculture by crushing plants, aerating the ground and by pollinating fruit trees and flowers. In organic farming, the use of insects is necessary. Some (called auxiliary) will be used to remove other (pests) without using any pesticide. It is then important to keep! The figure shows some insects on the heap of compost! This is a food chain around the pile of composts! Nature is the winner! Thanks to wastes from Sika-Kondji quarry site!
